Which of the San Francisco Museums will you visit today?

Me at the California Academy of Sciences

If you're around the Bay Area or planning on traveling to San Francisco, you must visit at least one of the San Francisco Museums.

They're entertaining for all ages. Some you'll like, and some you won't...

...but to spare you time...and the money....I'll tell you which ones are worth visiting!

de Young Museum San Francisco

One of the most popular art museums in San Francisco, and 16th most popular in Northern America that offers a range and variety of interesting artwork!

This museum offers everything from paintings to photographs, architectural structures, ancient artifacts, and other interesting displays of other cultures.

Exploratorium

My first time going to a museum in San Francisco was when I was 12. And it was a field trip to the Exploratorium. As a kid, I was amazed and fascinated by all the displays!.......Going back there now as a young adult simply reminded me that same feeling!

California Academy of Sciences

One of my favorite San Francisco museums is the California Academy of Sciences....Don't let the name fool you into thinking it's just another geeky, nerdy, educational museum with a dull narrator you have to listen to through an earpiece set! Because this museum/planetarium is sure to blow your mind away.

Did I mention this museum had a nightlife?? No, I don't mean all the displays come to life at night...WELL...

Actually, it might as well do, since the museum does indeed come to life at night during these nightlife events! Adults 21+ can enjoy the museum....Mingle with friends....Sip on their favorite margaritas...and Listen to fantastic music. Sometimes, they even have a DJ or live bands!

Wax Museum

Coming to San Francisco to see some celebrities?

Well, we've got plenty for you to take pictures with!

Actually, they're made of wax, but they look quite realistic! One of the Wax Museums in San Francisco is located right next to Ripley's Believe It Or Not, making it convenient for you if you feel like museum-hopping! It's pretty sad, but the closest I can come close to meeting some of Hollywood's hottest stars is going to the Wax Museum. But hey, I'll take it. ;)

There are plenty more San Francisco Museums to share with you...Ones that are worth visiting, and some that aren't. Either way, I suggest you bookmark this page to explore and discover more of San Francisco (and the bay area)'s attractions that are just waiting for you to visit!

See you around,

Quick Tip:

Purchase a WharfPass in advance to avoid long lines!

I suggest you purchase a WharfPass, which includes a pass to a variety of San Francisco's most entertaining, popular, and unique attractions at a cheaper price. It's a great deal, and saves you a bundle of effort and money!
