If you're ever in San Francisco, this should be your first stop after the great Golden Gate Bridge!

Now, Alcatraz Prison is in Alcatraz Island, across Fisherman's Wharf or Pier 39...

The ferry ride to Alcatraz Island will take you roughly 10 minutes. It's quite windy....so I suggest you bring something warm.

You will then be given a short introduction of the island, followed by a self-implemented tour in the Alcatraz Prison itself (you will be given a headset that guides you throughout the prison).

You will discover many things, learn spine-tingling facts, and set foot on the floor of where the most brutal criminals have once rested upon.

The first time that I visited the infamous Alcatraz Prison was certainly a time to remember. It was as if you could still sense the presence and energy of these prisoners...and the prison guards whose lives were also taken...
